Philips Modality Sales Specialist Sleep and Respiratory Care - Therapy Platfom in Amsterdam, Netherlands

You will make direct customer impact by taking accountability for driving overall business and product deal support.

Your role:

  • As the product and solutions expert, the Modality Sales Specialist (MSS) supports the Commercial Category Manager(s), Account Managers and Clinical & Professional Marketing Managers in driving overall business, through product deal support, provision of clinical and technical training (through direct delivery as well as “train the trainer” models) and delivery of sales enablement tools.

  • Working together with Account Managers, the MSS informs and recommends customers the latest technological innovations and associated configurations, including the possible upgrades of the installed base, attending product related complaints and inquiries, to obtain a higher level of customer satisfaction and contribute to achieve the sales targets.

  • The MSS collates relevant content to develop sales enablement assets and tools utilized by the Account Management team to ensure the implementation of our strategic segment plan in line with key propositions and solutions.

  • The MSS understands and addresses competitive positioning and marketing strategy of respective product/ modality and supports where needed in identification of the tender strategy and quotation.

  • The MSS contributes with Marketing input on sales tools, pricing issues and competitive threats which enable Marketing to best support the Specialists and provide input to the BG.

  • Monitoring competition and changes in the industry, the MSS provides effective feedback to the CCL and marketing organizations that include suggestions for expanding product offerings.

  • The MSS drives continuous improvements via Lean

  • The MSS will be required to work effectively both virtually and in person, with flexibility around travel - Region is Europe

You're the right fit if:

  • Clinical background in the Domain of Sleep & respiratory Care

  • Proven track record in an international commercial role in the Healthcare industry

  • Strong communication- and negotiation skills

  • Experience in Modality Management and tactical sales plan

  • Real team-player, positive can-do attitude, strategic thinker with strong executional skills and hands-on mentality who knows how to get things done

  • Bachelor or Masters’ degree

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written is required.
