HarmonyTech Project Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico

HarmonyTech Inc. is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for award management, responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution and ensuring effective communication between the Contractor and the client.

This position is available in Albuquerque, NM, and requires U.S. citizenship OR Permanent Residence status.

Responsibilities:

  • Designate a Project Manager (PM) as the single point of contact (POC) for award management.

  • Proactively address questions, concerns, and comments from the client and stakeholders.

  • Alert the client to potential contractual issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.

  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in managing multiple contract operations.

  • Possess the authority to make decisions for the Contractor and act as the single representative responsible for all issues, concerns, or problems related to the award instrument.

  • Manage multiple contract operations simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and negotiate solutions in a professional manner.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as business administration, management, engineering, or information technology.

  • Advanced degrees such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master of Science in Project Management are preferred.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®.

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) for Agile project management.

  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®.
