CACI is seeking an HVAC/Generator Technician for its team in Albuquerque, NM. This position requires travel in the continental United States to various projects. If you are looking for a new challenge, CACI would like to speak with you.

What you will get to do:

  • Assist in engineering, design, and installation of HVAC/Generator systems

  • Hands-on work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of generators, motors, Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), control panels, HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems such as timers, circuit breakers, feeders, coils, and relays.

  • Training of staff in system repairs, operations, procedures and troubleshooting

  • Use of electrical test equipment

  • Core understanding of determining the root cause of malfunctions and correcting them

  • Experience in industrial, military, and commercial electrical wiring, repair and maintenance as well as mechanical-system troubleshooting

  • Work with control systems

  • Read schematics and work plans

  • Work in a team environment as a Quality Team Member

  • Writing customer system-specific installation and operator maintenance manuals which include detailed drawings, test plans, and procedures

  • Coordinate the procurement of HVAC/electrical components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements

  • Collaborate with engineering staff

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

  • BA/BS Degree with 5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC/Generator experience. The degree can be substituted for additional years of experience.

  • EPA universal refrigeration licenses (or able to attain within 3 months from the start date).

  • Working knowledge of single and three-phase power circuits.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Military mobile power generation/HVAC experience in a tactical environment

  • Active TS/SCI

  • New Mexico Journeyman Refrigeration licenses

  • New Mexico Journeyman Electrical licenses

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,700 - $134,000
