JOB SUMMARY

Bohannan Huston is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Civil Engineering Technician/Designer to work in the Aviation Engineering Group in our Albuquerque, NM, office.

Thesuccessful candidate will utilize theirAutoCAD Civil 3Dsoftware experience to support design engineering teams on airport projects. Project work includes runway/taxiway design, airport planning, drainage and airfield lighting design/layout. Additional duties may involve preparing graphics for planning and presentation projects andassisting engineers with project material quantities for cost estimating purposes.The Technician/Designer will also provide assistance to the Traffic/Transportation Group as workloads fluctuate, and experience with roadway construction plans is a plus.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have earned a high school/Equivalent plus technical school or 2-year Associate's degree.
• You have 5 years minimum experience in Civil Engineering drafting/design.
• You are a self-starter with basic guidance from design engineers on construction plan production.
• You have flexibility to work with different teams.
• You are fluent in AutoCAD Civil 3D software with alignments, surfaces, and corridors.
• You have experience with runway and taxiway design (desired), roadway and site development grading, and drainage plan production.
