Job Summary:

Robert Half is partnering with a company on a Member Service Representative position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, handling a variety of transactions, and promoting products and services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome members and visitors in a professional manner.

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions.

  • Offer general and specific service-related information concerning credit union products or policies in-person and by telephone.

  • Respond to email or other electronic requests from members promptly and professionally.

  • Resolve members’ requests, problems, and complaints, directing them to the appropriate person when necessary.

  • Open new accounts, service existing accounts, and provide members with necessary information for membership.

  • Handle requests from members for various transactions such as transfers, withdrawals, check requests, and loan payments.

  • Process, close, and disburse loans in accordance with company policies.

  • Conduct orientation interviews on credit union services and programs with new members.

  • Promote credit union products and services based on member needs, actively cross-selling products.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.

  • Provide information on investment alternatives to members interested in depositing funds.

  • Research accounts for deposit, withdrawal, and loan-payment discrepancies.

  • Assist members in balancing their accounts and opening individual retirement accounts.

  • Stay adaptive to continuous product changes, policy, and procedure updates.

  • Perform back-office duties as assigned.
